Understand your project card

Applies to: pagenorma S, pagenorma QS

Each project on the Dashboard has a card. Here is what it shows.

Progress

Progress: 120.50 / 220.00 pages (55%) compares the pages you have translated with the pages in the book.

  • Translated pages are counted from the characters of your translation, at 1800 characters per standard page.
  • The total is the source page count. If your translation grows longer than the source, the total follows it, so the bar never goes past 100%.
  • A small line shows the raw numbers: characters in the source and in the translation, with their page equivalents. A note appears when the translation is longer, because untranslated front and back matter and differences between languages can make the counts differ.

Pace

  • Planned pace is your Daily Target from the project settings, or Not set.
  • Required pace is the remaining pages divided by the days left until the deadline. It counts business days, or all days if you work weekends. It is shown in red when you have set a planned pace and the required pace is higher, meaning you are behind your own plan, and in teal otherwise.
  • After the deadline the card says Deadline has passed! When the project is complete it says Project completed!

Earnings

Earnings: €1,506.25 / €2,750.00 is what you have earned so far against the total. Both are based on translated pages multiplied by your rate per page, and the rate is shown next to it.
