Where your data is stored
Applies to: pagenorma S, pagenorma QS
pagenorma does not keep your projects on a server. Most of your work lives in your own browser.
Stored in your browser, on your device
- Projects — their settings, the text read from your source and translation, and the cover image.
- Saved analyses and glossaries.
- Deduction settings from Settings.
- Your Hugging Face token, if you connected one.
Stored in your pagenorma account
- Your email address and sign-in methods.
- Your token balance and your monthly usage.
- Your marketing and consent choices.
Not stored by pagenorma
Your Google access token is kept only for the current browser session. Your Google Docs stay in Google.
What this means
- A different browser or device starts empty. To move your work, use backup and restore.
- Clearing site data removes your projects. pagenorma asks your browser to keep its storage safe from automatic clean-up, but a browser can still refuse, or lose data if you clear it yourself.
- Private or incognito windows do not keep data after they close.
- Your allowance and tokens belong to your account, so they follow you to any device.
Make a backup regularly, especially before clearing your browser or changing devices.
