Install pagenorma as an app and use it offline

pagenorma is a progressive web app (PWA). Installing it gives you a window of its own, an icon on your desktop or home screen, and no browser address bar.

Install on a computer

  1. Open pagenorma.eu/app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install pagenorma.
  3. Confirm. pagenorma opens in its own window.

Install on Android

  1. Open the app in Chrome.
  2. Open the menu and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).

Install on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.

What works offline

The app files are cached on your device, so pagenorma can open without a connection and you can look at the projects stored on your device.

Some things always need the internet:

  • signing in, your token balance and voucher redemption
  • picking or refreshing a Google Doc
  • AI analysis, the glossary and the thesaurus
  • some helper libraries the app loads when you read ePub and PDF files

Updates

pagenorma checks for new versions whenever you open it and updates itself. If you ever see an old version, see The app is not updating.

Your projects live in your browser. Installing the app does not move them anywhere else, and a different device or browser starts with no projects. Use backup and restore to move or protect your work.
