Choose which pages to analyse
Applies to: pagenorma S, pagenorma QS
You do not have to analyse a whole book at once. In the AI Translation Analysis dialog you can choose exactly which pages to cover, which also controls what you spend.
Enter ranges
Type the pages in the Pages to analyse box the same way as when printing:
22-56, 60-75, 78
A single page is just its number, such as 78. A page here means one standard page, which is 1800 characters with spaces.
Leave the box empty to analyse the whole text, starting from page 1.
Find the right pages
Below the box, a list shows the first line of each page, so you can see where chapters begin. If the list is not loaded yet, click Load pages.
The buttons under the box help:
- All pages — select the whole text.
- Clear — empty the box.
- Fit to allowance — appears when your remaining allowance is smaller than your selection. It shortens the selection to what you can afford.
What you are charged
You are charged for the number of pages in your selection, not for the whole book. If the selection is bigger than the remaining budget, pagenorma refuses to start and suggests Fit to allowance, rather than quietly cutting your selection.
Remembered choices
pagenorma remembers your selection for the project once you start a run, so you can continue from where you stopped next time.
When something changes
If the pages changed between setting up and starting a run, you may see The selected pages changed since this run was set up. Close the dialog and try again. If your range contains no analysable text, widen it.
